Items disappearing upon new game

4 items seem to be taken away every time a new game is started. 4 times have I had to buy the 50 medal items each and helmet / 1 accessory slot is also taken away per new game. Any ideas on when this can be fixed? It is kind of taxing to farm medals for hours only to lose the items bought.

Just started another new game and lost all except 1 item on my Zerg tank. >.>

i think i found the problem for the item disappear.

I will be working on this bug all day and the rest of the week or however long it takes. I have redone a large majority of the saving triggers. Next is all the loading triggers.. bare with me, im trying my best. It would help a lot if I knew what was causing it, it kinda came out of nowhere. The only thing I have tampered with is UI stuff and that can't be affecting load/saving triggers.. Will let you know asap when things are working properly.

this one its looking a bit tricky... but i believe we found the solution for it already...
Seems that this bug works only if you choose same character at the very first hero choise. So until it is fixed, try not to play with the same hero as your friends, at least on the very first load.

EDIT: i made a new game with a guy from your clan (raptor) and we choosed diferent chars (i went zealot and him raynor) and his items disappeared... also i noticed when i made a new game alone that my marine items were... gone. Since he loaded marine first... affect my bank files for marine even if i didnt played with him? weird bug man...

Also when i opened my bank file i found this (ill put spoiler here)

I deleted some stuff from there so people can't cheat by copying and past to get these items.
has you can see there i still had the items on my bank file... only the item counted reseted from 10 to 0. This made my items to "disappear". I hope this info helps on the bug resolve.

P.S. like always i managed to get my stuff back thanks to my super hacker abilities! *or not*

Yea its a bizarre bug, I spent hours last night working on a fix, finished it late so ill be trying it out after work today. Hopefully it fixes everything. I would suggest just playing solo for now to avoid any loss.

We (me mostly ) found out where the bug is!
It's in the auto-save feature. Somehow the game was saving the bank information for the first person loading... and using that same information for all the people who would use the same character as the first person.
Now this will help Dem to find the exact bad trigger and to fix it.
Please be patiente while this is not 100% debugged, we're working hard on it (well Dem is... xD)

Ok, I believe v2.9 is the first fixed game. I just sent it in, we tested a couple times and it looked like people are all loading their own heroes. Let me know if you see any problems. A lot of stuff got updated, I believe if everything runs normally now, its gonna be a lot more stable and less likely to lose heroes/gear. Thanks for your help with testing and feedback everyone.

hey there, i played today for the first time.. i liked it and i played my Ghost for about 4 hours or so til lvl 17.. then i moved into my house and logged out.. then a friend comes along and i wanna show him the game.. but all of my equipment was gone, the money was resetted to the start amount but my ghost was still lvl 17.. i dropped a really nice helmet and weapon but now its all gone..
i searched a bit and found this entry about it, and i hope this bug will get fixed because it is really a nice game and i had a lot of fun playing it. my buddy says it looked fine too and we would play it but with loosing items it would be a sad time..

the money its normal to reset... it is supposed to reset.
The skills also are supposed to reset, while the level maintains...
about the item disappear i have no idea... it was supposed to be fixed already.

yea im still having issues with this still, managed to get 1 char to save inventory and equipped items, but when i make a new char, pick up items save at house or in the bar, reload during same game and everything is gone. same thing happens when i make a new game and load a char.

Ok I've done some research and testing on this situation. It appears the very first time a hero is created, it doesn't load his/her items after the first time you save and load (unknown problem so far). I've found a way around this for new players. To test this theory, grab an item after you make a level 1 hero and save with the house or bar portal. Load him and if he doesn't load with that item, Do it again. The second time I did it the items started saving. That's the only item loss I could find so far. But Im redoing some of the saving/loading triggers to see if it helps, and I'm creating a solution to the new hero item loss bug. Hope I can get it done today. Thanks for the feedback!

I'll be looking for a few good testers in the public today. Pretty much did all the solo
testing I can do. Got the new update on the Testing Map now. Time to see if its ok with multiplayer support. If so, I'll update all maps and things should be fixed.

Finally the item loss bug is solved! Me and a couple people went in and did some testing, ran a full game and beat it, all items saved and whatnot, didn't run into many serious bugs, but some minor ones ill take care of soon. The problem was the Quickslot buttons on the heroes, Basically, if you put any items into the quickslot bar, it causes anything else you pick up to NOT SAVE because it couldn't save the items in the Quickslot buttons... kinda weird, so Quickslot buttons are disabled until further notice. Go ahead and try it out, All items should save. A lot of updates came from this bug so it was for the best. Thanks for the feedback guys!
